Cafezinho do Brasil
An intense, sensual espresso inspired by Brazilians' love of their Cafezinho. A velvety textured cup with unexpected herbal notes.
Adjust the coffee serving size to 25 ml to create a delicious cappuccino that is a sweet sensation of salty, bitter, and toasted notes reminiscent of salted peanuts. Or, add 40 ml of coffee to 100 ml of frothed milk to create a Latte Macchiato with sweet, round walnut notes and a slightly smoky aftertaste.
A 100% Brazilian pure Origin Blend from Cerrado district (Minas Gerais state) and Espirito Santo state. It is enhanced by dulcet pulped natural Bourbon from Carmo de Minas and Pacos de Caldus (Minas Gerais state).
We worked closely with the farmers in Espirito Santo to enhance the typical Cafezinho notes we were after through innovative harvesting techniques. These particular notes develop when cherries are in close contact with the high level of humidity in the air, so we asked farmers to only hand-pick those growing at a certain height and leave the lower-growing, less interesting cherries behind.
Cafezinho is the common name used by Brazilians to name their everyday coffee. It literally means "little coffee" in Portuguese. The capsule and sleeve capitalize on the bright colours of the Brazilian flag.
